Origin - China
Long Jing is a traditional pan-fired green tea grown in the mountains around the West Lake area of Hangzhou in the Zhejiang Province. Once a tribute tea to the Emperors, it is still very famous and its characteristic flattened sword shape is attained by pressing the leaves into the sides of the wok.
Profile - A very fine whole leaf green tea with a bright tint of jade, the liquor is brisk and tasty with elegant floral and grassy notes. This tea is smooth and nutty with an edge of fresh hazelnut.
