ROOIBOS
Rooibos means red bush and it is not a tea but rather a tisane, made from a broom-like plant grown exclusively in South Africa in the Cedarberg region. The leaves and stems are harvested, then cut, crushed, oxidized and dried in the sun. Rooibos is rich in antioxidants but does not contain any caffeine. Its reddish-brown liquor is spicy and fruity with malt and caramel notes.
