This is a renowned oolong with an enchanting floral aroma.
Origin - Taiwan
One of Taiwan's most renowned highland oolongs, this tea was grown on the mountain of the same name. Dong Ding (Frozen Peak) Mountain is often hidden in a blanket of foggy mist and produces teas that have a very sweet and flowery aroma. Taiwan is famous for its production of oolong teas, partially oxidized teas, and especially for its high-mountain jade oolongs, produced in the Nantou district.
Profile - Dong Ding oolongs are lightly oxidized (20-25%) and the leaves are kneaded while wrapped in cloth. This gives the half-ball shape of this tea. The dry leaves look like beautiful bronze-green beads that unfurl slowly to reveal their enchanting aromas. This light tea has a bright floral aroma that will linger in your mouth for a long time.
